7/16 Lineup!

Oh man! We are on a fantastic roll here at the show. Your continued support and interest in our craft is overwhelming, and we can’t thank you enough. Every single show has been completely packed, so if you haven’t checked out the show yet, you probably owe it to yourself to come this week. To sweeten the deal, we’ve even put together a spectacular lineup to lure you in:

Your headliner, Joe Fernandez

What a guy, that Joe Fernandez. Not only is he hilarious. Not only is he a constantly innovative and creative force on the scene. Not only is he able to blend serious and goofy into a mix so tasty that I feel comfortable comparing it to peanut butter and marshmallow fluff. All that, and, he’s not afraid to touch audience members, provided that they are attractive women. You hear that, all you attractive women? Come see Joe Fernandez live and I guarantee that you will laugh, and that he might touch you.

With…

Collin Bullock

Collin Bullock can tend to be a polarizing force. On the one hand, he’s a great comic and an all-in-all solid dude. On the other hand, he’s a man who’s not afraid to speak his mind, regardless of what the consequences may be. It’s this melange of attributes that makes some people afraid of him, but it also makes him a consistently interesting entertainer and a great podcaster. Check out his podcast, Awkward Moments, and come see him live this week.

Shane Copland

If you can show me a person with a sunnier disposition than Shane Copland, I will gladly kick myself in the nuts. How would I do that? I’m not entirely sure about the logistics, but I’m so confident that your search will fail that I am completely unconcerned. Shane’s a very funny man who carries himself with a self-assuredness that feels so inclusive, so sincere, so welcoming; it’s downright refreshing. The fact that he’s from Canada and pronounces “about” and “sorry” funny is just icing on the cake.

Brendan Fitzgibbons

This is the hardest part of my job here on this website. I should probably just come clean from the jump: I have never met Brendan Fitzgibbons. Thanks to an exhaustive internet search, I’ve learned that he’s a really talented comic from New York. I get the feeling that he’s a pretty alright guy, and all of us here at the show are excited to make a new friend.

As usual, the drink specials will be popping off, and the dance party will rage on long after the comedy ends. From this week forward, we’re proud to be offering Industry Night discounts for all the noble bar employees of Chicago. Bring your pay stub with you, and get 20% off your tab. It’s getting tougher and tougher to resist, isn’t it?  Just give in and come join us for a good time. We’ll see you there.
